Silver Shadow Ltd. is a fully licensed taxi service on Salt Spring Island, B.C. since 1988.
We provide full door-to-door transportation services, pick-up & drop-off anywhere on island, tours, delivery (food/grocery/parcel/etc.), and vehicle rescue services (battery booster jump/gas delivery/etc).
Rates & Fees
Every ride is operated on the meter, as regulated by the Passenger Transportation Board of BC. Standard provincial rates apply. For the latest local rates, visit the Taxi Rates section of the PTB’s website.
Ferry Terminals to Ganges
The following are estimated fares between the Salt Spring Island ferry terminals and the main town of Ganges. The taxi meter will determine the final fare.
- Fulford Harbour to Ganges: approx. $38
- Vesuvius Bay to Ganges: approx. $22
- Long Harbour to Ganges: approx. $18

Reservations
We accept reservations by phone for pick up service and delivery with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Please call ahead to make a reservation.
