Wine and Cheese
Spend the afternoon visiting local artisanal cheese and wine producers. The Salt Spring Cheese Company handles the goat cheese while Moonstruck Cheese is proud of their Jersey cows. We have three fabulous vineyard for your taste buds to explore, without worrying about driving home!
Ruckle Park and Mt. Maxwell
Our beautiful Provincial Parks are not easily accessible without a car. A must-see view from the top of the Mountain, with trails at the top. Ruckle Park has hikes catering to every difficulty level. Southern views from the rocky cliffs of many other Gulf Islands and a working farm.
North to South
Cruise around the not often visited Northend to see breathtaking views of Galliano and Thetis. Grab an oven roasted pizza at Raven Street Cafe and have a coffee to have on the old Government Dock. Then head over to Vesuvius for our warmest beach and great ferry watching. A scenic drive to the Southend where farms and forest live together.
